Stunning accommodation of a high standard
We are a group of 7 friends who recently spent a week staying at Armathwaite Manor, and loved everything about the house. Sue’s personal welcome was really appreciated, it was so nice to have someone show us around rather than being left with a key in a lockbox. It was clear the accommodation has been equipped with furniture and fittings of a really high standard, and we found everything perfect and comfortable. The photos just don’t do it justice. The dogs also loved the freedom that the garden and field gave them. Having walks from the door, a great pub just a few steps away, as well as the train station just across the village meant we all had a relaxing break. We would all highly recommend staying here, whatever the occasion. We will definitely be back.

Girly weekend
Simply the best- again!!
Everything is just perfect, the house, the beds, the hot tub, the location! Didn’t visit the local pub this time around but the village shop has everything you need plus you can get takeaways delivered here. And the train station to take you into Carlisle. Fab walks on your doorstep as well.
Sue, an absolute legend as always. Can’t wait to come back in a few weeks ❤️

Fantastic from start to finish
Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We needed somewhere that could accommodate four different families, with three dogs and one room needing to be all ground floor access. Not only is the house fantastic the location is too.. Ample space for the dogs to exercise and three huge hot tubs. Communication with Sue was straightforward and she left treats for each property. Nothing negative to say completely positive experience, thank you to all.

Fantastic location
We had a wonderful stay here. The property is immaculate and well maintained. It is very well equipped and the hot tub is an added bonus. The local pub is excellent for food and the village store has lots of local produce. Sue manages the property well and was extremely helpful in providing recommendations of where to go and places to eat. The grounds are also beautiful and well maintained had an excellent stay. Thank you. We will definitely be back.
